University of Bath

The University of Bath has a variety of different venues that offer great spaces for conferences, exhibitions, banquets and more.

We have a dedicated professional events team who are on hand to help wherever needed. Our excellent catering facilities provide delicious food and top quality service for your delegates.

If your event is during the summer, we can also offer accommodation for all of your guests.

Our venues range from small meeting rooms and restaurants to large lecture theatres and foyers.

Our main large-capacity venues are:

The Chancellor’s Building

There are four lecture theatres in The Chancellors' Building with tiered seating. The capacities range from 150 to 350. All include state-of-the-art audio visual systems and climate control.

We have 18 classrooms available for hire. Capacities range from 30 to 80 people. These adaptable rooms feature state-of-the-art audio visual systems, climate control, adjustable lighting, sound and camera loops. These rooms are either laid out in typical classroom style or for group work sessions. We can change furniture set-up as required.

These flexible spaces also feature white boards for breakout sessions, group planning and creative thinking exercises.

There are two foyer spaces, providing the perfect location for catering, exhibitors and posters.

The East Building

The East Building has a 350-seat tiered lecture theatre with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. Its large main foyer area makes it ideal for plenary sessions or day events.

We have several classrooms, with capacities ranging from 14 to 64. These have state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and can be used for smaller events or workshops.

The foyers provide the perfect space for delegate registration and arrival, poster sessions, exhibitor stalls and display materials.

The space's open layout and natural light make it a refreshing area for showcasing, networking or meeting and greeting. It is also ideal for a wine reception or buffet.
